Devil`s ClawMy boyfriend is a vet and, I must say, when I first met him and he told me what he did, I was incredibly impressed. When I was at school we were always told that only the most clever people became vets and, if I am honest, this played a large part in my agreeing to go on a date with him. After being with him for some years now I can confirm that he is very intelligent but also, he is very open minded in lots of ways. For example, someone came in his surgery the other day offering an alternative medicine for back pain called
Devil`s Claw. When he heard about this he was very interested in the heritage of
Devil`s Claw and asked the person selling it to explain more about it. He found out that
Devil`s Claw has been used for centuries in southern Africa and people there swear by its efficacy. My boyfriend`s interest increased as he listened to the salesperson`s explanation and he said that he would take some of the product and offer it to some of his patients as an alternative. That is what I really love about him, he is open to all sorts of new ideas.
